In conjunction with BSTREET Communications, Lucid Strategies was charged with the responsibility of developing a social media app for Ferrero Rocher’s Holiday campaign. The Virtual Gift app allowed Facebook friends to share holiday salutations, while entering a sweepstakes at the same time. Overall, the app had tremendous engagement, which led to a boost in reach of the Ferrero Facebook page. The app included an HTML5 video component, which allowed unique videos to be played seamlessly on all mobile systems, including iOS.
The Entertainment District BIA is a community driven non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the economic and cultural vitality of the Toronto Entertainment District. Over the past year, Lucid Strategies has managed the infrastructure developments for the BIA’s website and Facebook presence. This has included the activation of Facebook apps and the fabrication of several website components aimed at connecting the community.
Layaway Holidays is a New Zealand based company, which allows customers to book holiday packages and finance them online through layaway payments. We were tasked with developing the infrastructure for both the website and the payment system architecture. This is a completely unique website and as such, all facets had to be developed from scratch, requiring creative thinking and problem solving skills on our part.

The simplicity of the CSV website reflects their design methodology and the easy to use content management system allows for numerous projects to be posted to the website.
Loop Notes is an academic resource company, which enables the buying and selling of student derived academic material. This website is rapidly expanding across Canadian campuses and has been a great success. The development of the website required a completely custom framework, which allows users to upload material, set prices and receive commission payments. The website also needed a comprehensive and secure shopping cart feature that enables the administrators to effectively manage all of the transactions.
Slide Magazine is one of the most recognized surf magazines in the world. Alan Ashworth started Slide Magazine in New Zealand and when he came to us, he had no internet presence. We promptly set him up with a website capable of featuring online articles, selling subscriptions and offering news updates to viewers. As the website expanded we worked with Slide Magazine to integrate banner advertising. This acts as an additional revenue source and has proven to be very effective for the magazine.
